Professional Statement

Lily Walsh, a Boston native, is a rising fourth year clinical psychology doctoral student at William James College in Newton, MA. She has a bachelors of science from New York University and a masters degree in clinical psychology from William James College.

Lily has an acute interest in trauma-focused and trauma-informed care. She has provided trauma-focused treatment at NYU’s Child Study Center, The Italian Home for Children in Boston, the Hill Center for Women at McLean Hospital in Belmont, and Cambridge Health Alliance’s Child and Adolescent Inpatient Units. She has had extensive training in evidence-based treatments such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Lily is also a trained childbirth doula with research experience in postpartum and peripartum mental health.

In her spare time, Lily enjoys traveling, crafting, and watching any and all horror movies.
